Fluffiest Friends Meandering Meadow DSP Card

For this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge I am using my brand new pre-order Online Exclusives (available November 7th) Fluffiest Friends Bundle and the gorgeous Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper to create my card. The critters in the Fluffiest Friends are all adorable and I paired the beaver with a sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set.

Start with a Misty Moonlight cardstock card base. Cut a Highland Heather cardstock panel and a Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together and then glue them to the card base. Die cut a dome shape from the beautiful Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper with the Fluffiest Friends dies. Glue the Designer Series Paper dome to the left side of the card front. Stamp the beaver from the Fluffiest Friends stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White cardstock and die cut out the image with the Fluffiest Friends dies. Use a Blender Pen to gently pull the Misty Moonlight ink to color the edges of the beaver. Add some more color to the beaver with Stampin’ Blends. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the colored beaver to the card front overlapping the bottom right side of the Designer Series Paper dome.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel and a Highland Heather cardstock sentiment panel layer. Stamp the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on the Basic White cardstock sentiment panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panel to the Highland Heather cardstock panel. Use glue to add the panels to the card front overlapping the Designer Series Paper dome and slightly tucked under the beaver. Add Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots to the card front around the sentiment panels.

Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel and a Highland Heather cardstock inside panel layer. Glue the panels together and then add them inside the card to write your message. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper down the left side of the inside panel and stamp the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Pecan Pie ink.

I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set and added a double layer strips of Designer Series Paper to pull the theme through.

Misty Moonlight cs card base – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″.
Highland Heather cs panel – 41/4″ x 5 1/8″.
Meandering Meadows DSP panel – 4 1/4″ x 5″ plus 1″ x 4 1/4″ strip.
Meandering Meadows DSP dome – die cut with the Fluffiest Friends dies plus one 4 1/8″ x 1″ strip & a 3/8″ x 3 7/8″ strip.
Basic White cs bever – die cut with the Fluffiest Friends dies.
Basic White cs sentiment panel – 3/4″ x 2 5/8′.
Highland Heather cs sentiment panel layer – 7/8″ x 2 3/4″.
Basic White cs inside panel – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″.
Highland Heather cs inside panel layer – 4″ x 5 1/4″.
