Garden Walk Them Bones Halloween Card

For this week’s Thursday Facebook Live I created a fun Halloween card with a Day of the Dead feel using the Garden Walk Designer Series Paper, the Them Bones Designer Series Paper, and the Bag of Bones bundle. You can watch how I made this project on my YouTube channel below.

Start with a Poppy Parade cardstock card base. Cut a Basic Black cardstock panel and a Basic White cardstock panel. Dry emboss the Basic White cardstock panel with the Painted Textured 3D embossing folder. Die cut a Basic Black cardstock scalloped rectangle with the Scalloped Contours dies. Glue the embossed Basic White cardstock panel to the Basic Black cardstock panel. Glue the scalloped rectangle to the center of the panels. Glue the panels to the card base.

Fussy cut out flowers and leaves from the Garden Walk Designer Series Paper with paper snips. Die cut out a Them Bones Designer Series Paper skeleton, cat , and dog with the Bag of Bones dies. Lay out the all the flowers and leaves on the card front with the skeleton & cat. When you’re happy with how the pieces look use glue and black Stampin’ Dimensionals to add them to the card front.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Bag of Bones stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cardstock panel. Use black Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panel to the top right of the card front. Add fussy cut flowers around the sentiment with black Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems to the card front for sparkle. Fussy cut four small flowers and use glue to add them to the skeleton and cat.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper, a fussy cut flower, and the die cut dog to the inside of the card to pull the theme through.

Poppy Parade cs card base – 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″.
Basic Black cs panel – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″.
Basic White cs panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″.
Basic Black scalloped rectangle – die cut with the Scalloped Contours dies.
Garden Walk DSP flowers & leaves – fussy cut with paper snips plus two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Them Bones DSP skeleton, cat, & dog – die cut with the Bag of Bones dies.
Basic White cs sentiment panel – 1 1/8″ x 2 3/8″.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
