Bird Ballad Laser – Cut card with the Bird Ballad DSP

The Bird Ballad Suite is one of my favorite suites in the Annual Catalog. I love how easy it is to make lovely cards for any occasion. For this card I am using the Bird Ballad Laser – Cut Cards, the Bird Ballad DSP, and the Free As A Bird stamp set. You can watch the Facebook replay of me making this card here.

Start with a Bird Ballad Laser – Cut card. Cut a Petal Pink cs panel. I placed the card on my Silicon Craft Sheet and applied a small amount of glue Laser- Cut card on the wider parts to attach the Petal Pink cs panel to the inside.

Cut the Vellum cs and Perennial Essence Petal Pink Vellum cs banners and then flag the ends with the Banner Triple Punch. Add glue only to the middle of the banners and attach them flush to the left side and across the middle of the card front.

Fussy cut out a bird, flower, and branch image as well as two smaller flower images from the Bird Ballad DSP with Paper Snips. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the larger bird, flower, and branch image flush to the left side centered on the vellum cs banners.

Use glue on the ends of the other 2 fussy cut flower images to attach them to the card front tucked under the vellum cs banners – one above and one below the larger image.

Stamp the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on Very Vanilla cs scrap. Use Paper Snips to cut out the sentiment panel. Attach the sentiment panel slightly tucked under the larger fussy cut image and along the vellum cs banners.

Add Wink of Stella to all the flowers and the birds for sparkle. Color pearls with the Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend and add them to the card front.

I also stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set and the flower and leaf images from the Free As A Bird stamp set to the inside and back of the card and envelope to pull the theme through. I used Stampin’ Write Markers to color the images.

I hope you enjoyed my Bird Ballad Laser – Cut Card with the Bird Ballad DSP. You can purchase everything I used to make this card in my Online Store including the Bird Ballad DSP that is included in the Buy 3 Get 1 Free DSP Sale that ends on September 30th.
