Thursday’s Double Feature: Holly Jolly Wishes Cards

The Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog is a fun Christmas songs themed sentiment stamp set. I used it to create this week’s Thursday’s Double Feature with the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stitched So Sweetly dies, and the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder. Start with a Soft Succulent cs card base. Cut a Basic White cs panel, an Ever Eden Specialty DSP panel, and a Cherry Cobbler cs panel and glue them to the card base with the Cherry Cobbler cs panel glued across the other panels just above the middle of the card front.

Die cut a Gold Shimmer Vellum label and a Basic White cs label with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on the Basic White cs label. Glue the stamped label to the Gold Shimmer Vellum label and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals (being sure to leave the top left corner free for the ribbon) to add the labels to the card front centered overlapping the Cherry Cobber cs panel.

Cut two pieces of Cherry Cobbler & Gold Metallic ribbon and a piece of Gold Shimmer ribbon. Use glue dots to create loops and to tuck them under the top left corner of the labels. Add Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink and added a strip of Specialty DSP to the inside & back of the card to pull the theme through.

Card Measurements:
Soft Succulent cs card base – 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″.
Basic White cs panel – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″.
Ever Eden Specialty DSP panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″ plus 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Cherry Cobbler cs panel – 1″ x 4 1/4″.
Gold Shimmer Vellum label – die cut with Stitched So Sweetly dies.
Basic White cs label – die cut with Stitched So Sweetly dies.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″.
Cherry Cobbler & Gold Metallic ribbon – two 2″
Gold Shimmer ribbon – 2″

Start with a Soft Succulent cs card base. Cut a Basic White cs panel, dry emboss it with the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder, and then glue it to the card base.

Die cut an Ever Eden Specialty DSP scalloped rectangle and a Basic White cs sentiment scalloped rectangle with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on the Basic White cs scalloped rectangle. Cut a piece of Soft Succulent Open Weave ribbon and use glue dots to shape it and add it to the back of the stamped Basic White cs scalloped rectangle.

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the sentiment scalloped rectangle to the Specialty DSP scalloped rectangle. Then use glue to attach the scalloped rectangles to the lower right corner of the card front. Color Holiday Rhinestone basic jewels with the Dark Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blend and add them to the card front.

Embossed Basic White cs panel – 4″ x 5 1/4″.
Ever Eden Specialty DSP scalloped rectangle – die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies plus two 1/2″ x 5″ strips .
Basic White cs sentiment scalloped rectangle – die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies.
Basic White cs inside panel – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″.
Soft Succulent Open Weave ribbon – 6″
DSP = Designer Series Paper
