Thankful Garden 2025 OnStage Swap Cards

I had a fabulous time at OnStage 2025 in Raleigh, North Carolina (Stampin’ Up!’s Demonstrator Event). I created these two cards (needed 11 of each) for an organized card swap that I participated in during the event. I used the fabulous new Online Exclusives Thankful Garden Bundle and the Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder. I love how easy it is to use the masks to color the images. I used the same color scheme for both swaps but used a different image & ran the embossing folder in different direction for each card. To create a mask for the small leaf on the inside panel, I stamped and then fussy cut out the image on a piece of Basic White cardstock so I could use the blending brush to add color to the stamped leaf on the inside panel.

I started with a Fresh Freesia cardstock card base and then glued a Basic Black cardstock panel layer and a Soft Sea Foam cardstock panel embossed with the Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder to the card base.

I stamped the image from the Thankful Garden stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock, used the Thankful Garden masks & small blending brushes to add the color to the image, die cut out the colored image with the Thankful Garden dies, and used Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the image to the card front.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel and stamp the sentiment from the Thankful Garden stamp set in Memento Black ink on the panel. Cut a small strip of Basic Black cardstock, use Stampin’ Seal to add it to the back of the sentiment panel and then use Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panel to the card front.

I added Natural Matte Dots to the card front and Wink of Stella to the flower centers for sparkle.

Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Create a mask for the small leaf on the inside panel by stamping the leaf on another piece of Basic White cardstock and then closely fussy cut out the leaf from the cardstock creating a mask (I used tape to reattach the cardstock where I made a single cut to start the fussy cut) so I could use the blending brush to add color to the stamped leaf on the inside panel before gluing it into the card.

For this card I used the other image & sentiment from the Thankful Garden stamp set and ran the Soft Sea Foam cardstock the other direction through the Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder. I added a small piece of the Fresh Freesia Faux Velvet ribbon under the sentiment and also used the Adhesive – Backed Sparkle Gems.

I also added a strip of corrugated Soft Sea Foam cardstock to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
