Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in Bruno and Kylie Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators from around the world!
Each month I make & send Customer Thank You Cards for everyone who orders from my Online Store. I absolutely love the super cute Snail Mail Suite that is in the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. I combined the snail and the lovely Sale-A-Bration Paper Blooms DSP to create this month’s card & decided to make it a fun Slimline card.
I started with a Seaside Spray cs card base and stamped it with the flowers from the Lovely You stamp set & leaves from the Always In My Heart stamp set in 2nd generation (stamped off) Petal Pink Ink & Seaside Spray ink. Use the Rococo Rose Stampin’ Write Marker to add random dots in threes on the card front. I then layered a strip of the Sale-A-Bration Paper Blooms DSP with Rococo Rose cs and glued them to the card front.
I stamped the snail (using a post it note to mask off the top words) from the Sailed It stamp set in Memento Black ink on a stitched Basic White cs circle that was die cut from the Stitched Shapes dies. I colored the snail with the Stampin’ Blends.
I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cs & flagged the end with my paper snips and added it to the left of the stitched circle. I fussy cut out a flower bouquet from the Paper Blooms DSP and added it to the left side of the stitched circle overlapping the sentiment. I added Opal Rounds to the card front for sparkle.
Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. I also stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Memento Black ink and added a strip of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
I hope you enjoyed my Thank You Slimline Card. You can order the Snailed It stamp set, Lovely You stamp set, Peaceful Moments stamp set, and the Stitched Shapes dies in my Online Store and choose the Sale-A-Bration Paper Blooms DSP for Free with a $50 order.
