Stampin’ Up!® True Love DSP Sympathy Card

Sadly, sometimes we need to make and send Sympathy cards. Stampin’ Up!’s beautiful designer series paper can make it a little easier to create these difficult cards. Today I have a card created with the beautiful black & white True Love DSP in the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog, the sentiment from the versatile Peaceful Moments stamp set, and my must have Stitched So Sweetly dies.

Start with a Seaside Spray cs card base. Cut a Basic Black cs panel and a True Love DSP panel. Use the Stampin’ Blends to color the DSP. Glue the panels together and then to the card base.

Die cut a Basic White cs stitched label and a Basic Black cs stitched label layer with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cs stitched label. Glue the stamped Basic White cs stitched label to the Basic Black cs stitched label layer. Then add the stitched labels to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a Matte Black Dots to the Basic White cs stitched label.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment and added a strip of colored DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Basic Black cs panel – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
True Love DSP panel -5 1/4″ x 4″ plus two strips of colored DSP 1/4″ x 4″
Basic White cs stitched label – die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies.
Basic Black cs stitched label layer – die cut with Stitched So Sweetly dies.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″

cs = cardstock
