Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon Oceanfront Card

Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

I adore all the beach themed stamp sets and bundles available now in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. I created this card my pairing the Oceanfront stamp set with the On the Horizon Bundle on a Heart & Home Memories & More Cards & Envelopes card base. You can watch the Facebook Live replay of this project on Facebook here or on my YouTube channel below.

Start with a Heart & Home Memories & More Cards & Envelopes card base. Cut an In Good Taste DSP panel (or substitute a Home & Heart DSP panel). Die cut a Basic White cs stitched rectangle with the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Stamp the Sky, Water, and Sand images from the Oceanfront stamp set using 2nd generation (stamped off) Balmy Blue ink for the sky, Misty Moonlight ink for the water, and Crumb Cake ink for the sand on the Basic White stitched rectangle. Stamp the sand texture dots image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Crumb Cake ink across the sand.

Stamp the large grass image from the Oceanfront stamp set on the bottom left side of the stitched rectangle overlapping the sand & water and the birds image from the On the Horizon stamp set in the sky in Early Espresso ink. Stamp the smaller grass image twice on either side of the larger grass stamped image in Soft Suede ink.

Die cut an Early Espresso cardstock fence piece with the Horizon Dies. Stamp the wood image from the On the Horizon stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the die cut fence. Die cut out a Crumb Cake cardstock grass piece with the Horizon Dies. Stamp the grass image on the die cut grass (they will not line up) in Crumb Cake ink to add texture. Use glue to add the die cut fence & die cut grass to the bottom left side of the stitched rectangle with one fence post off the side. Wrap Linen Thread around the stitched rectangle threaded between the panel and last fence post and tie in a small bow. Glue the wrapped stitched rectangle panel to the In Good Taste DSP panel.

Cut a Basic White cs sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the sentiment panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to the lower right side of the card front on the under the wrapped thread and overlapping the die cut fence & grass pieces.

I added a Basic White cardstock inside panel for stability and to write my message. Stamp the sentiment & birds image from the On the Horizon stamp set and the larger grass image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I hope you enjoyed my On The Horizon Oceanfront card. You can order the On the Horizon Bundle, the Oceanfront stamp set, the Waves of Inspiration stamp set, the Heart & Home Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, and Stitched Rectangle Dies in my Online Store.
