This week’s Global Design Project is a lovely color challenge. I used the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle to create this purple and blue sunflower card.
CELEBRATE SUNFLOWERS BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

Start with a Highland Heather cs card base. Cut a Whisper White cs panel, stamp the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink and then dry emboss it with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder. Use a sponge dauber to add Misty Moonlight ink to the panels edges. Wrap the embossed & sponged panel with Misty Moonlight In Color ribbon and tie in a knot. Use glue to add the wrapped panel to the card base.
Stamp the large sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflower stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on Whisper White cs. Die cut the sunflower out with the Sunflower dies. Color the sunflower with the Stampin’ Blends.
Stamp the leaf from the Celebrate Sunflower stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink three times on Misty Moonlight cs. Die cut out the leaves with the Sunflower dies. Die cut Misty Moonlight cs sunflower outline & three leave outlines with the Sunflower dies. Die cut Vellum cs sprigs (a single and a double) with the Sunflower dies. Use glue to add the outlines to the sunflower and leaves.
Add the sunflower, leaves, and Vellum cs sprigs to the top left of the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, glue, and glue dots. Add 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots.
Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. Use a sponge dauber to add Misty Moonlight ink to the panel’s edges. Stamp the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greeting stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink and a sponged embossed Whisper White cs strip to the inside panel and the back of the card to pull the theme through.

Whisper White cs scrap – die cut flower with the Sunflower dies
Misty Moonlight cs scrap – sunflower outline, 3 leaf outlines, 3 leaves die cut with the Sunflower dies.
Vellum cs sprays – one single and one double spray with Sunflower dies
Whisper White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
