Slim Triangle Ornate Garden Card

This week I went in search of a triangle card sketch for my Team. You can find a plethora of card sketches on Pinterest. We decided to go with the simple one pictured below. I made two cards with this sketch – a traditional card and a Slim (Slimline) card.

Start with a Rococo Rose cs card base. Cut an Ornate Garden Specialty DSP panel and glue it to the card base. Cut the Mint Macaron cs panel, the Gold Foil sentiment layer panel, and the Whisper White cs sentiment panel. Glue the Mint Macaron cs panel across the bottom of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Forever Blossoms stamp set in Rococo Rose ink on the Whisper White cs panel. Then glue the stamped Whisper White cs panel to the Gold Foil panel and then glue them off center to the right on the Mint Macaron cs panel.

Die cut three Gold Foil stitched triangles with the Stitched Triangles dies. Glue the stitched triangles to the card front. Punch two Rococo Rose cs flowers with the Medium Daisy Punch and dry emboss them with the Tasteful Textiles 3D embossing folder.

Use your Bone Folder to curl the petals, build your flower by using a glue dot to attach the punched flowers together. Use paper snips to trim the petals. Attach the flower to the card front with glue dots. Add a Glided Gem to the flower’s center.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Seaside View stamp set in Rococo Rose ink on the inside panel. I also added a strip of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
