Stampin’ Up!® Hello Snails Card

Card Measurements, Supply List, and printable PDF tutorial for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

For this week’s Global Design Project color challenge I used the Snailed It Designer Series Paper from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. I fussy the cut super cute images from the DSP with a stitched label to create my card.

Start with a Bermuda Bay cs card base. Cut a Real Red cs panel and a Snail Mail DSP panel. Glue the panels together and them wrap them with a piece of Real Red Double-Stitched Satin ribbon using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends on the back of the panels and then glue the wrapped panel to the card base.

Fussy cut out snails & mushrooms from the Snail Mail DSP. Add some Shimmery Crystal Effects for extra texture & shine. Be sure that you let the Shimmery Crystal Effects completely dry. Die cut a Basic White stitched label with the Stitched Nested Label dies. Add the dry mushrooms and snails to the center of the stitched label with glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment from the Snailed It stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink & Real Red ink on the right side of the stitched label above and below the mushrooms & snails.

Attach the stitched label to the card front to the left of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Tie a small bow with the Real Red Double-Stitched Satin ribbon and use glue dots to add it to the right side of the stitched label overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add rhinestones to the card front and stitched label for extra sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Snailed It stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink, added a strip of DSP, and a fussy cut snail (inside) & mushroom (back) to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I hope you enjoyed my #GDP281 Hello Snails card. You can order the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper, Snailed It stamp set, and Stitched Nested Label dies in my Online Store.
