Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Just Because Card

Start with the Pale Papaya cs card base. Cut a Blushing Bride cs panel & a Hand-Penned DSP panel and glue them together. Wrap the panels with a piece of Pale Papaya & White Woven ribbon using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ribbon’s ends on the back of the panels. Then glue the wrapped panel to the card base.

Stamp the large floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cs. Die cut out the image with the Penned Flowers dies. Color the die cut image with Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella to the largest flowers and Shimmery Crystal Effects to their centers. Be sure to let the Shimmery Crystal Effects to completely dry.

Die cut a Vellum cs scalloped rectangle with the Scalloped Contour dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the die cut flower image to the center of the Vellum cs scalloped rectangle. Then add glue to the back of the Vellum cs scalloped rectangle (under the part covered by the Basic White cs flower image to hide the glue) to the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Stamp the sentiment from the After the Storm stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cs. Use paper snips to fussy cut out the sentiment. Use glue dots and a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional to add the sentiment to the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add Champagne Rhinestones to the card front.

Don’t forgot to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I also stamped the sentiment from the After the Storm stamp set in Memento Black ink and the flower fill-in image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in the Pale Papaya ink on the back of the card.
