Stampin’ Up! Peachy Day Card

I love the new You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper. I have a hard time deciding on which side of the DSP I like better so I created this ‘Peachy Day’ card that shows off both sides for a flower themed Glimmer Gals Team swap. The Sweet as A Peach stamp set also has a coordinating set of dies that are sold together in a bundle – but I fussy cut out the stamped images that I used on this card and add a couple of fussy cut flowers from the DSP.

Start with a Balmy Blue cs card base. Cut a Calypso Coral cs panel and a You’re A Peach DSP panel. Cut the DSP panel to create two panels (so one is 2″ and the other is 3 1/4″). Glue the DSP panels to the Calypso Coral cs with the floral 2″ panel at the top. Then glue the panels to the card base. Cut a Balmy Blue cs strip and glue it over the DSP transition on the card front.

Die cut a Basic White cs stitched label with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Sweet As A Peach stamp set in Memento Black ink on the die cut label. Glue the stitched label to the left side of the card front overlapping the Balmy Blue cs strip.

Stamp the leaves image from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set in Pear Pizazz ink on Basic White cs. Stamp the peaches image on the leaves – inking first with Pale Papaya ink and then adding a little Calypso Coral ink to the stamp with a sponge dauber. Fussy cut out the peaches & leaves with paper snips. Fussy cut out two flowers from the You’re a Peach DSP. Add Wink of Stella ink to the flowers.

Add the fussy cut peaches & leaves with glue to the card front overlapping the right side of the stitched label and the Balmy Blue cs strip. Add the DSP flowers to the peaches & leaves with the Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add Artistry Blooms sequins to the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. Add a DSP strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I also stamped the sentiment from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set in Memento Black ink on the back of the card.

You’re A Peach DSP panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″ cut in two at 3 1/4″ and 2″ to flip one half.
Balmy Blue cs strip – 1/2″ x 4 1/8″.
Basic White cs sentiment label – die cut with Stitched So Sweetly dies.
Basic White cs peaches & leaves – fussy cut with paper snips.
You’re A Peach DSP flowers – fussy cut with paper snips.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
You’re A Peach DSP strips – two at 1/2″ x 4″
