Stampin’ Up! Gilded True Love Congrats Card

I really enjoyed playing with the new Gilded Leafing and applying it with Heat & Stick Powder and Tear & Tape (watch the YouTube video below for how I did both). I used the panel I created with the Glided Leafing and Tear & Tape to create today’s card.

Start with a Basic Black cs card base. Cut a Gold Foil cs panel and dry emboss it with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Use glue to attach the True Love & Glided Leafing panel (watch my YouTube video for how I made the Gilded panel) to the embossed Gold Foil panel and then glue them to the card base.

Cut a Basic White cs sentiment panel and a Basic Black cs sentiment panel layer. Stamp the sentiment from the In Bloom stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cs.

Glue the stamped Basic White cs sentiment panel to the Basic Black cs panel layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the sentiment panels to the bottom right corner of the card front. Add Gold Glitter Enamel dots to the sentiment.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Here’s A Card stamp set in Memento Black ink and added an embossed Gold Foil strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Card Measurements:
Basic Black cs card base – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″.
Basic White cs panel – 3 3/4″ x 5″ cut down to 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ after DSP & Gilding.
True Love DSP panel strips – 4″ x 5 1/4″ cut into strips adhered to the Basic White cs panel and then cut down to 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″.
Embossed Gold Foil panel – 4″ x 5 1/2″ plus two strips 1/4″ x 4″.
Basic Black cs sentiment panel layer – 1 1/4″ x 2 3/4″
Basic White cs sentiment panel – 1″ x 2 1/2″
Basic White cs inside panel – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
