Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Bundle Note Card

The beautiful Flowering Tulips bundle from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog includes a wonderful stamp set of images & sentiments and coordinating dies that create 3D tulip flowers. I used a Basic White Note Card and the New Horizons Designer Series Paper (DSP) to create this lovely tulip Thinking of You card. Start with a Basic White Note Card card base. Cut a Parakeet Party cs panel and a Basic White cs panel. Use Stampin’ Seal or Glue to add the Parakeet Party cs panel to the card base. Die cut a New Horizons DSP stitched scalloped edge and use Stampin’ Seal to add it to the right side of the Basic White cs panel.

Die cut New Horizons DSP tulip flower pieces and Parakeet Party cs leaves (3) and thin stem (1) with the Tulips Dies. Use paper snips to snip the thin stem in half. Build two tulips using glue dots and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Use glue or Stampin’ Seal to add the leaves and stem to the left side of the edged Basic White cs panel. With paper snips cut off the excess so that the leaves & stem are flush with the left side. Use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the built tulip flowers to the card front on the stems.

Punch a Basic White cs sentiment label and a New Horizons sentiment label layer with the Label me Fancy punch. Stamp the sentiment from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cs sentiment label. Cut the New Horizons DSP label in half using paper snips and then use glue or Stampin’ Seal to add the pieces to the back of the Basic White cs stamped label. Add the sentiment labels to the bottom of the card front. Use Stampin’ Seal or Glue to add the edged Basic White cs panel to the card front. Add Iridescent Basic Jewels to the card front.

I added a strip of New Horizons DSP down the right side of the inside leaving plenty of room to write your message.

I also added a strip of DSP on the back of the card to pull the theme through.

New Horizons DSP tulips – die cut with the Tulip Dies.
Parakeet Party cs leaves & stem – die cut with the Tulip Dies & stem cut in half with paper snips.
Basic White cs sentiment label – punched with the Label Me Fancy punch.
New Horizons DSP sentiment label layer – punched with the Label Me Fancy punch and then cut in half with paper snips.
New Horizons DSP strips – inside – 5″ x 1″ and back – 5/8″ x 3 1/4″ strips.
