Stampin’ Up! Beauty Of Friendship Card

Card Measurements and Supply List are found at the bottom of this blog post.

For this week’s Global Design Project color challenge I am using the lovely Beauty of Friendship stamp set from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. I also used the fabulous Scalloped Contours dies and the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder to create this card and all three products are included in the Seasonal Sale that ends today.

Start with a Night of Navy cardstock card base. Cut a Pumpkin Pie cardstock panel and a Balmy Blue cardstock panel. Dry emboss the Balmy Blue cardstock panel with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder, use a sponge dauber to lightly add Night of Navy ink to the raised embossed parts of the panel. Glue the embossed Balmy Blue cardstock panel to the Pumpkin Pie cardstock panel. Wrap the panels with Metallic Mesh Ribbon using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends of the ribbon to the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped panel to the card base.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock scalloped stitched rectangle with the Scalloped Contours dies. Stamp the tree image from the Beauty Of Friendship stamp set in Night of Navy ink three times on the scalloped stitched rectangle. Stamp the fuller foliage image from the Beauty Of Friendship stamp set on the tree images in Balmy Blue ink. Stamp the small flower/dots image on the trees with Pumpkin Pie ink. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers/dots for sparkle. Use a sponge dauber to add Night of Navy ink to the stamped rectangle’s edges and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add it to the center of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Cut a Pumpkin Pie cardstock panel and a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Beauty Of Friendship stamp set in Night of Navy ink on the Basic White cardstock panel and use a sponge dauber to add Night of Navy ink to the stamped sentiment panel’s edges. Glue the Pumpkin Pie cardstock panel across the scalloped stitched rectangle just below center. Use glue to add the sentiment panel to the right side of the card front overlapping the Pumpkin Pie cardstock panel & the scalloped stitched rectangle.

Tie a small bow with the Metallic Mesh Ribbon and use glue dots to add the bow the left of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon above the Pumpkin Pie cardstock panel. Add Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels to the card front around the sentiment.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. I stamped a tree on the right side of the panel (like I did on the scalloped stitched rectangle on the card front) before adding it to the card. I also stamped the sentiment from the Beauty Of Friendship stamp set and embossed Balmy Blue cardstock strips to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I hope you enjoyed my #GDP369 Beauty Of Friendship card. You can order the Beauty Of Friendship stamp set, Scalloped Contours dies, and the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder in my Online Store which are included in the Seasonal Sale that ends today.
