Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments Mother’s Day Card

We are in the final few days before the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog retires and the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog goes live. The Beautiful Moments stamp set is carrying over and I used it to create this week’s Global Design Project’s color challenge Mother’s Day card with the retiring Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Cards & Envelopes and the Subtle 3D embossing folder.

Start with a Bumblebee Flowers For Every Season Memories & More card base. Cut a Magenta Madness cs panel and a Basic White cs panel. Dry emboss the Magenta Madness cs panel with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Glue the embossed panel to the card base.

Stamp the Mother & Daughter (on the right side) and flowers (along the bottom edge) images from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cs panel. Stamp the butterfly images from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Bumblebee ink above the flowers. Color the images using the smallest Water Painter (damp not wet) by picking up ink from the Classic Stamp pads (depress the lid to create a well of ink on the lid) and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Glue the stamped & colored panel to the card front.

Cut a Basic White cs sentiment panel and a Magenta Madness cs sentiment panel layer. Dry emboss the Magenta Madness cs panel with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Stamp the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cs panel. Glue the stamped Basic White cs panel to the embossed Magenta Madness cs panel.

Use Stampin’ Seal to add looped Bumblebee In Color ribbon to the back of the panels and then use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add them to the top left of the card front. Add In Color Enamel Dots to the sentiment panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Memento Black on the inside of the card. I also stamped the flowers (in Memento Black ink) & the butterfly (in Bumblebee ink) from the Beautiful Moments stamp set and colored the flowers with the Coastal Cabana & Magenta Madness Stampin’ Write markers on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
