Yesterday I made this lovely Garage Gear thinlit dies Sale-A-Bration Coordination More Than Words stamp set card. You can watch the replay of my Facebook Live here. I double dipped embossed a slew of gears from the Occasions Catalog Garage Gears thinlit dies over the weekend (check out how I did that here) and it was fun getting to create with the dry & heat embossed gears.
Start with a Silver -Edged Card for the card base. Cut a Soft Subtle cs panel, dry emboss it with the Subtle embossing folder, and glue it to the card base. Glue a dry & heat embossed Soft Suede cs gear piece to the top of the card base.
Cut the Whisper White cs sentiment piece, and stamp the ‘Birthday’ from the Sale-A-Bration Coordination More than Words stamp set in Memento Black ink. Stamp the ‘Wishes’ in Soft Suede ink. Stamp the halved wishes stamp in Memento Black on top of the Soft Suede Wishes stamped sentiment. Use a dauber inked with Soft Suede ink to add color to the stamped Whisper White cs sentiment layer especially on the edges. Then gently drag the Whisper White cs sentiment layer across the Memento Black ink pad only adding ink to few spots along the edge to finish the look.
Adhere the Silver Thread in loops to the back of the Whisper White cs sentiment layer with a bit of SNAIL. Using Glue Dots attach the ribbon pieces to the sides of the Whisper White cs sentiment layer. Use glue to adhere a dry & heat embossed gear to the lower left hand side of the card front before using Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the Whisper White cs sentiment layer to the card front. Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue to adhere another dry & heat embossed Soft Suede gear to the right hand corner of the Whisper White cs sentiment layer and the card front.
Stamp the oil splotch stamp from the Geared Up Garage stamp set in Soft Suede to the inside and back of the card. Also add an oil splotch in Soft Suede on the matching Silver- Edged envelope. I added the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment to the envelope over the oil splotch from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in Memento Black ink.
