Snow Day Global Design Project Theme Challenge Card

For this week’s Global Design Project Theme Challenge card, I pulled out my Snow Days Workshop kit Designer Series Paper that is currently still available on the Last Chance list. I fussy cut a snow globe with a cute penguin and added a sentiment from the new Online Exclusive A Little Cheer stamp set to create my card.

Start with a Petal Pink cardstock card base. Cut a Garden Green cardstock panel and a Snow Day Workshop Kit Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together, wrap them with the Petal Pink Scalloped ribbon, and use Tear & Tape to secure the ends on the back of the panels.

Fussy cut out a large penguin snow globe from the Snow Day Workshop kit Designer Series Paper and use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the globe to the card front, slightly to the right overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add Wink of Stella to the penguin for sparkle.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel and a Garden Green cardstock sentiment panel layer. Stamp the sentiment from the A Little Cheer stamp set in Garden Green ink on the Basic White cardstock panel. Glue the stamped sentiment panel to the sentiment panel layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots to add the sentiment panels to the left side of the globe on the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add Holographic Resin dots to the card front.

Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel and a Garden Green cardstock inside panel layer. Glue the panels together and glue them into the card to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the A Little Cheer stamp set in Garden Green ink. Add a strip of Snow Day Workshop Kit Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. Add a fussy cut penguin from the Snow Day Workshop Kit Designer Series Paper with glue to the left side of the inside panel overlapping the Designer Series Paper strip.
