Silly Old Bear Global Design Project #GDP571

**Card Measurements and Supply List with the printable PDF with the clickable (Print Recipe)** link for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

I just love the adorable Online Exclusive Silly Old Bear Suite Collection that is available in the U.S. For this week’s Global Design Project Greenery themed card, I used this wonderful imagery in the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper, Peaceful Pine die cut leaves, and a donkey (because everything is always better with Eeyore) to make my card.

Start with a Peaceful Pine cardstock card base. Cut the Peaceful Pine 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper panel and the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper panel (that includes the tree with the opened door & owl). Glue the Silly Old Bear DSP panel to the Gingham Gallery DSP panel and then glue them to the card base.

Die cut out the scene label with the rabbits pulling the bear from the tree from the Silly Old Bear DSP with the Sweet Words & Labels dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the label scene to the card front so it overlaps the tree image on the Silly Old Bear DSP panel. Die cut Peaceful Pines cardstock leaves with the Sweet Words & Labels dies. Use glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the leaves around the label on three sides (so not to cover up the owl).

Stamp the donkey image on Very Vanilla card stock in black ink (I’m still using Memento Black). Color the image with Stampin’ Blends. Die cut the colored donkey with the Sweet Old Friends dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the die cut donkey to the bottom right corner of the card front. Color the Radiant Gems with the Dark Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blend and then add them to the card front among the leaves around the label. Add Wink of Stella to the characters for sparkle.

Add a Very Vanilla cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of the Gingham Gallery DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. Fussy cut out a scene from the Silly Old Bear DSP and glue it to the bottom left of the inside panel overlapping the DSP strip.
