I am enjoying getting in the Halloween spirt with the super cute Online Exclusive Playful Ghosts stamp set. For this fun Playful Ghosts Halloween card I created a pumpkin patch by stamping & fussing cutting out a bunch of pumpkins and layering them with the fussy cut ghost in a Jack-O-Lantern image across the card front. I used the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper and colored some Black & Very Vanilla Large Checked ribbon with my Dark Peach Pie Stampin’ Blend to coordinate.
Start with a Peach Pie cardstock card base. Cut a Basic Black cardstock panel and a Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper panel. Dry emboss the Basic Black cardstock panel with the Painted Textured 3D embossing folder. Glue the Designer Series Paper panel to the embossed panel.
Stamp the ghost in the Jack-O-Lantern image from the Playful Ghosts stamp set twice on Basic White cardstock. Fussy cut out one image fully and color it with Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut out only the Jack-O-Lantern’s face of the second image and then color with Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella to the pumpkins and ghost for sparkle. Glue the colored ghost in the Jack-O-Lantern to the center of the Designer Series Paper panel. Use Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the colored Jack-O-Lantern face over the first image to create dimension. Stamp a bunch (11) pumpkins from the Playful Ghosts stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the pumpkins with Stampin’ Blends. Use paper snips to fussy cut the pumpkins out & apart. Use glue, glue dots, and Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the pumpkins across the panel.
Use the Dark Peach Pie Stampin’ Blend to add color to the Black & Very Vanilla Large Checked ribbon. Wrap the panels with the colored Black & Very Vanilla Large Checked ribbon underneath the pumpkins & ghost using Tear & Tape to secure the ends on the back of the panels. Glue the built panels to the card base. Tie a bow with the colored Black & Very Vanilla Large Checked ribbon and use glue dots to add it under the ghost overlapping the wrapped ribbon.
Stamp the sentiment from the Playful Ghosts stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Die cut out the sentiment with the small banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. Cut a Peach Pie cardstock strip and use glue to add it behind the stitched sentiment banner. Die cut a Basic Black cardstock banner with the Stylish Shapes dies. Use paper snips to cut the Basic Black cardstock banner in half. Use Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment banner to the Basic Black cardstock half banner. Use glue to add the sentiment banners to the card front under the colored Black & Very Vanilla Large Checked ribbon bow. Add Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems to the card front for extra sparkle.
Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. I added a strip of Designer Series Paper and stamped & colored pumpkins from the Playful Ghosts stamp set to the inside & back of the card to pull the theme through.
I hope you enjoyed my Playful Ghosts Pumpkin Patch card. You can order the Playful Ghosts stamp set, the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper, Stylish Shapes dies, and the Painted Textured 3D embossing folder in my Online Store.
