I got to play with the new Sale-A-Bration Painted Seasons DSP and I love it! I used it to create my Facebook Live card on Monday. You can watch the video replay here.
Coordinating colors: Call Me Clover, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso,
Grapefruit Grove, Lemon Lime Twist, Mango Melody, Petal Pink,
Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, and Whisper White.
12 sheets: 3 each of 4 double-sided designs
Start with a Petal Pink cs card base. Glue a panel of Poppy Parade to the card base. Wrap a piece of Sale-A-Bration Grapefruit Grove Organdy ribbon around a panel of the gorgeous Sale-A-Bration Painted Seasons DSP. I used SNAIL to adhere the ribbon to the back of the DSP and then glued the DSP panel to the card front.
Stamp the sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration Part of My Story Cling stamp set on Whisper White cs in Poppy Parade and then punch it out with the Sale-A-Bration Coordination Story Label Punch. Then punch out labels with the Story Label Punch from Petal Pink cs and Poppy Parade cs. Use your paper snips to cut the Petal Pink cs and Poppy Parade cs labels in half and glue them to the back of the stamped Whisper White label. Attach the sentiment layer to the card front over the ribbon off center to the right with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie a bow with the Organdy ribbon and attach it with glue dots to the left side of the sentiment label.
After cutting out a butterfly (with your snips or Butterfly Duet punch) from the Sale-A-Bration Botanical Butterfly DSP use the Stampin’ Blends to color it. Bend and curl the wings of the butterfly with your bone folder and then attach it to the card front with glue dots. Add Wink of Stella to the butterfly’s wings and the heart in the sentiment for sparkle.
Don’t forget to add an inside piece of Whisper White so you can write your message. I always add a strip of the DSP to the inside and the back to pull the theme through.
