My First Play with the Nobel Peacock Suite.

It’s hard to believe but I hadn’t gotten ink on my Royal Peacock stamp set. So I broke out the Shimmer Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and made a card.

Noble Peacock Suite Bundle
#152187
Price: $92.75

Start with a Pretty Peacock cs card base. Cut a Black Foil cs panel and dry emboss it with the Beads & Baubles embossing folder. Glue the embossed panel to the card base. Cut the Pretty Peacock foil strips, the Purple Posy cs panel, and the Whisper White cs panel.

Stamp the peacock image from the Royal Peacock stamp set in Pretty Peacock on the Whisper White cs panel. Dust the stamped peacock on the Whisper White cs with the Embossing Buddy. Stamp the tail image in Versamark ink over the stamped peacock image, apply the Shimmer Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder – tap of the excess and then melt the powder with the Heat Tool. I used my Wink of Stella brush to add Pretty Peacock ink and Highland Heather ink to the stamped & embossed image.

Glue the colored, stamped, & embossed Whisper White cs panel to the Purple Posy cs panel. Use glue to add the Pretty Peacock foil cs strips to the sides of the Purple Posy cs panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the built peacock panel to the embossed Black Foil cs.

Stamp 3 flowers from the Free As A Bird stamp set on Pretty Peacock cs with Pretty Peacock ink. Stamp the small flower from the Free As A Bird on Basic Black cs in Pretty Peacock ink. Use the Paper Snips to fussy cut out the flowers and then use the inside edge of the snips to rough the edges. I crinkled the flowers, gently smooth them out, and then used glue dots to attach the flowers to the top left of the peacock Whisper White cs panel. Add Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the flowers and the tail of the peacock.

Cut the Whisper White cs sentiment banner. Stamp the sentiment from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink. Use Paper Snips to flag the end of the banner and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the sentiment to the top of the card front tucked under the the flowers.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I added embossed strips of Black Foil & stamped the sentiment on the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.
