This lovely Glimmer Gal team color challenge came from Lorraine of Lorraine’s Crafting Corner. These colors lend perfectly for a card with a vintage flare so I used the Birch background stamp, the leaves from the Very Versailles stamp set with die cuts from the Frosted Bouquet and In the Woods dies.
Start with a Balmy Blue cs card base. Cut a Soft Suede cs panel and glue it to the card base. Cut a Balmy Blue cs panel and use a sponge dauber to add Balmy Blue ink to the edges. Stamp the Birch background stamp in 2nd generation (stamped off) Balmy Blue ink on the Balmy Blue cs panel. Then stamp the leaf image from the Very Versailles stamp set in 2nd generation (stamped off) Crumb Cake ink on the right side of the Balmy Blue cs panel and glue it to the card front.
Stamp the sentiment from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set in Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla cs and then punch it out with the Story Label punch. Punch a Soft Suede cs label with the Everyday Label punch. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the stamp Very Vanilla cs on the Soft Suede cs label.
Die cut sprigs with the Frosted Bouquet Dies from Crumb Cake cs. Die cut leaves with the In The Woods Dies from Soft Suede cs. Add Snail to the back of the sentiment label layers and then attach a small folded piece of Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim to the bottom edge of the label layer. Then add the die cuts of the sprigs & leaves to the left side of the label layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the built label layer to the card front so it overlaps the stamped leaves on the lower half of the card front. Use the Dark Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blend to color pearls and then adhere them to the card front around the sprigs & leaves.
Don’t forgot to add a Very Vanilla cs inside panel to write your message. I also stamped the sentiment from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set and the leaves from the Very Versailles stamp set on the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.
