Magnolia Lane Suite Card

I couldn’t help pulling out the Magnolia Morning dies and making a card using the die cut flowers with the that gorgeous Magnolia bud. I think they look lovely against that fabulous stripe paper from the Magnolia Lane DSP.

Start with a Mossy Meadow cs card base. Cut the Petal Pink cs panel and Magnolia Lane DSP panel and glue them to the card base.

Use the Magnolia Memory dies (in Good Morning Magnolia bundle) to die cut the flowers and then use glue to build the flowers- I layered the pieces slightly off center of each other –

• Whisper White cs for the flower outline die
• Petal Pink cs for the flower base die
• Vellum cs for second flower base die to layer on top

To die cut out the leaves with the Magnolia Memory dies and then use glue to adhere the leave outlines to the leave bases –

• Mossy Meadow cs for large and small leaves outline dies
• Old Olive cs for the small leave dies
• Old Olive cs for fussy cutting base for the large leaves

Stamp the Magnolia bud from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set in Mossy Meadow on Whisper White cs. Color the flower with the Stampin’ Blends. Cut out the flower with the Magnolia Memories dies. Add some Wink of Stella to the flower petals for sparkle.

Stamp the sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on Whisper White cs and then punch it out with the 1 1/2″ circle punch. Die cut the Mossy Meadow cs sentiment layer (1 7/8″) and Petal Pink cs sentiment layer (1 7/8″) with the Layering Circle dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to build the sentiment layer panel.

Build your card front using glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere your flower pieces to the card front. Use glue to adhere the sentiment layer panel to the card front.

Make a bow with the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from Magnolia Lane ribbon combo pack and adhere it with a glue dot to the sentiment layer panel. Use the dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend to color a white Basic Adhesive- Backed Sequins and add one to the bow and a few to the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I also stamped the sentiment and stamped & colored the Magnolia bud on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
