Kylie’s Demonstrator Training June 2020 Blog Hop with Fancy Phrases Birthday Wishes

Hi! Welcome to Christy’s Stamping Spot. I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Arizona, USA. Today, I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop.

The Fancy Phrases stamp set is one of my new favorites from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I love the gorgeous flower images in this set and for this card I stamped the large floral image directly on the In Good Taste DSP.

Start with a Night of Navy cs card base. Cut a Very Vanilla cs panel and an In Good Taste DSP panel. Stamp the large floral image from the Fancy Phases stamp set in Night of Navy ink multiple times on the In Good Taste DSP panel. Glue the panels together and then wrap the panels with the Vanilla ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack securing the ends with Stampin’ Seal to the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Stamp the sentiment from the Fancy Phrases stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Very Vanilla cs. Punch out the sentiment with the Label Me Fancy punch. Punch out a Night of Navy cs label with the Everyday Label punch.

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the Very Vanilla cs sentiment label to the Night of Navy cs label and then use more Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the labels to the center of the card front overlapping the ribbon.

Tie a small bow with the Vanilla ribbon and attach it to the left side of the labels with glue dots. Add Night of Navy Holiday Rhinestones to the card front for sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Very Vanilla cs panel to write your message. I also stamped the sentiment and flower image from the Fancy Phases stamp set on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
