Zany Zebra with a Hint of Purple

I love these super cute zebras in the new Zany Zebras stamp set that is in both the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and the new Beginner Brochure.

Start with a Basic Black cs card base. Cut a Gorgeous Grape cs panel and Whisper White cs panel. Dry emboss the Whisper White cs panel with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder. Glue the embossed Whisper White cs panel to the Gorgeous Grape cs panel and then glue the panels to the card base.

Stamp the zebra image from the Zany Zebras in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cs. Die cut out the zebra with the stitched square from the Stitched Shapes dies. Paint the zebra’s main with Gorgeous Grape ink welled in the lid of your ink pad with the Wink of Stella brush. After making sure the purple is off the brush tip add Wink of Stella to the zebra’s strips for extra sparkle.

Cut small pieces of Purple Tricolor ribbon and Whisper White Faux Linen ribbon – loop them and add them to the back and left side of the stamped stitched square. Then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Zany Zebras stamp set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cs. Die cut out the sentiment with the banner die from the Tasteful Labels dies. Die cut out a second stitched banner from Basic Black cs. Glue the Basic Black cs stitched banner to the bottom right of the card base. Use a Stampin’ Dimensional on the top of the Whisper White cs sentiment stitched banner and a glue dots on the bottom to attach it so it overlaps the card front and Basic Black cs stitched banner slightly askew. Color some rhinestones with the Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend and add them to the card front for more sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write you message. I stamped the sentiment to the inside in Memento Black ink and on the back with Craft Whisper White ink.

I also added embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder Gorgeous Grape cs strips to the inside and back of the card to to pull the theme through.
