Kylie’s Demonstrator Training July 2020 Blog Hop with Whale Of A Time

Hi! Welcome to Christy’s Stamping Spot. I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Arizona, USA. Today, I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop.

I love the Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ DSP! These fabulous images do all the work to make lovely ocean themed cards easy and fun.

Start with a Just Jade cs card base and dry emboss the front with the Seabed 3D embossing folder. Cut a Whisper White cs panel and dry emboss the panel with the Subtle 3D embossing folder and glue it to the card base. Cut a Whale of a Time DSP panel and glue it to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Silhouette Scenes stamp set in Just Jade ink on Whisper White cs. Die cut out the sentiment with Hippo & Friends dies and then dry emboss it with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Die cut a Just Jade label layer with the Hippo & Friends dies and then dry emboss it with the Seabed 3D embossing folder. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the embossed Just Jade cs label layer to the card front. Use glue and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stamped embossed Whisper White cs label to the top right of the embossed Just Jade cs label.

Fussy cut out three turtles from the Whale of a Time DSP and glue them to the card front around the sentiment labels. Add Artistry Blooms sequins to the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the All Things Fabulous stamp set in Just Jade ink on the inside panel. Fussy cut the sea weed from a piece of Whale of a Time DSP.

I also added a strip of the Whale of a Time DSP to the back of the card and stamped the turtle from the Whale of a Time stamp set in Just Jade ink.
