In Good Taste DSP Fabulous Birthday Card

This week’s Global Design Project is to CASE the fabulous Manuela Geiswinkler’s card. I used the In Good Taste DSP and the All Things Fabulous stamp set for my card.

CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit

Start with a Purple Posy cs card base. Cut the two different In Good Taste DSP panels. Glue the large DSP panel to the card base first centered to the right and the smaller DSP panel slightly off centered overlapping the card base and other DSP panel.

Stamp the flowers (3 two-step images) from the All Things Fabulous stamp set in 2nd generation and full Rococo Rose ink on Whisper White cs. Use your paper snips to cut out the flowers. Stamp the leaf image from the All Things Fabulous stamp set in Just Jade (4 times) on Whisper White cs and then fussy cut them out.

Unravel a piece of Gold Trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack, loop the threads and add them to the back of the flowers with glue dots. Add the flowers to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue the leaves tucked under the flowers to the card base.

Cut the Whisper White cs sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the All Things Fabulous stamp set on the Whisper White cs panel in Just Jade ink. Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment panel to the card front overlapping the flowers and DSP panels.

Use glue and the Take Your Pick tool to add the gold mixture sequins from the new Sequins For Everything to the card front. Tie a small bow with a piece of Purple Posy Playing with Patterns combo pack and use glue dots to the card front under the sentiment panel. Add Wink of Stella to the fussy cut flowers for sparkle and Purple Posy ink to the card front by flicking the Dark Purple Posy Stampin’ Blend.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Wishes stamp set in Just Jade ink and added a strip of DSP on the inside and back of the card.

I also added a fussy cut leaf and stamped the flower images to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
