Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop February 2019

Hi! Welcome to Christy’s Stamping Spot. I’m Christy and am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Arizona, USA. Today, I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop.

My card was inspired by the Mother’s Day Tea Cup Card in Bermuda Bay from the 2019 Occasions Catalog on page 49. I decided to use the Sale-A-Bration Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets and the Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends to accent the Bermuda Bay. I made this card during my Facebook Live. You can watch it here.

I ran a piece of the Lovely Lipstick foil through the Big Shot using the Subtle 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (to save foil I first cut out the middle of the foil to save for another project). I also ran a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock through with the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I wrapped a piece of Very Vanilla Polka Dot Tulle ribbon and Lovely Lipstick Grosgrain ribbon around the embossed Bermuda Bay layer. I tied the Lovely Lipstick in a bow to the left side of the layer. I glued down the layers on the Bermuda Bay card base building the card front.

I stamped multiple flowers from the Tea Together Cling stamp set in Memento Black, colored them with the Stampin’ Blends, and then cut them out with Sale-A-Bration Tea Time framelit dies. I also cut out a flourish from Lovely Lipstick foil with the Be Mine Stitched framelit die. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black from the Sale-A-Bration Lasting Lilly stamp set on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and used my snips to flag the end.

To create the tea cup I embossed the image with clear embossing powder on a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock and cut it out with the Tea Time Framelit dies. Using dimensionals and glue dots I built the card front filling the tea cup with flowers and placing the flourish under the saucer. I added Wink of Stella to the middle of flowers for sparkle.

And don’t forget to stamp some lovely flowers on the Very Vanilla inside piece to finish the card. You can purchase the supplies and earn the Sale-A-Bration items to make this card in my Online Store now.
