Inspirations In Ink: Fun Fold Blog Hop Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy, an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Southern Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in the Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators!

For this month’s blog hop and September’s PDF Tutorial we are focusing on Fun Folds. I created my fun fold, a square easel card, with the beautiful upcoming September-December 2023 Mini Catalog All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Autumn Leaves dies, and the sentiments from the upcoming Pick of the Patch stamp set & the Annual Catalog Pansy Patch stamp set.

Cut and score a Pretty Peacock cardstock card base. Cut a Pretty Peacock cardstock panel, a Moody Mauve cardstock panel, and a All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper panel and glue the panels together. Glue the panels to the top fold of the card base.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock stitched label, Moody Mauve cardstock leaves, Pretty Peacock cardstock leaves, Vellum cardstock leaves from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog Autumn Leaves dies. Stamp the sentiment from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog Pick of the Patch stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on the bottom right corner of the stitched label.

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots to add the stitched label and leaves to the bottom right corner of the front panels. Add copper Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front in the leaves.

Cut a Moody Mauve cardstock inside panel layer and a Basic White cardstock inside panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on the Basic White cardstock inside panel. Glue the Basic White cardstock inside panel to the Moody Mauve cardstock inside panel and then glue them into the card.

Cut a Moody Mauve cardstock strip and two All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper strips. Glue the All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper to the Moody Mauve cardstock strip and glue the strips to the bottom of the inside panel. Add two copper Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front in the leaves. Add the other Specialty Designer Series Paper strip to the back of the card to pull the theme through.

Pretty Peacock cs panel – 41/4″ X 4 1/4″.

All About Autumn panel – 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ plus two 1/2″ x 3 7/8″ strips.
Basic White cs stitched label – die cut with the Autumn Leaves dies.
Moody Mauve cs leaves – two die cut with the Autumn Leaves dies.
Pretty Peacock cs leaves – two die cut with the Autumn Leaves dies.
