For this week’s Global Design Project color challenge I created a card using the beautiful Online Exclusive Happy Hibiscus bundle that will be available starting November 5th and the new Two-Tone cardstock from the Reindeer Memories Two-Tone cardstock pack. The Happy Hibiscus bundle includes a Hybrid embossing folder that coordinates with the dies – so you can emboss and die cut at the same time or just as a 3D embossing folder like I did for the background panel on this card.
Start with a Pool Party cardstock card base. Cut a Real Red Two-Tone cardstock panel and a Pool Party cardstock panel. Dry emboss the Pool Party panel with the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid embossing folder. Glue the Real Red Two-Tone cardstock panel (dark side showing) to the card base. Glue the embossed Pool Party cardstock panel to the card front.
Stamp the three outline floral images from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set on Basic White cardstock in full strength Real Red ink and then stamp the inside floral images in 2nd generation (stamped off) Real Red ink over the outline floral images (I used my stamp positioning tool). Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for extra sparkle. Die cut the Real Red Two-Tone cardstock (both sides) small flowers with the Happy Hibiscus dies. Stamp the outline leaf images (large & small) from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on Basic White cardstock and then stamp the inside leave images in 2nd generation (stamped off) Granny Apple Green ink over the outline leaf images (I used my stamp positioning tool). Die cut out the flowers and leaves with the Happy Hibiscus dies. Die cut out Granny Apple Green (both sides) leaves with the Happy Hibiscus dies.
Die cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment label with the Something Fancy dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on the right side of the label. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stamped label to the card front. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots to build a floral bouquet with the die cut flowers & leaves on & around the left side of the sentiment label. Add clear gems from the Faceted Gems Trio Pack to the card front around the floral bouquet.
Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the large outline flower image on the top left corner of the inside panel in Real Red ink and then stamp the flower inside image over the outline image in 2nd generation Real Red ink. Add Wink of Stella to the flower for sparkle. Glue the inside panel into the card. Add an embossed Pool Party cardstock strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on the right side of the inside panel above the embossed strip.
I hope you enjoyed my Happy Hibiscus Bundle Sneak Peek card. You can order the Reindeer Memories Two-Tone cardstock pack and the Something Fancy dies in my Online Exclusive Happy Hibiscus bundle in my Online Store starting November 5th, 2025.
