Halloween Mondays: Rustic Harvest Gnome Card

Halloween is on a Monday this year and I’ll be counting down to Halloween with a new Halloween project on Mondays until October 31st.

For today’s Halloween Monday project I created a fall flower gnome card. The Gnome dies make a fun paper pieced gnome that is perfect to add to the gorgeous fall flowers of the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper. I used the sheet of Designer Series Paper that is designed to be cut into card fronts with space to add a sentiment at the top.

Start with a Cajun Craze cardstock card base. Cut a Crushed Curry cardstock panel and a Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper panel and glue them to the card base. Fussy cut out flowers, a leaf, and a butterfly from the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper. Add Wink of Stella to the flower centers for sparkle.

Die cut a Basic Black cardstock gnome hat and shoes with the Gnomes dies. Dry emboss the Basic Black cardstock hat with the Timber 3D embossing folder. Die cut a Basic Gray cardstock beard with the Gnomes dies. Die cut a Basic White cardstock gnome nose with Gnomes dies. Color the nose with a Stampin’ Blend (700). Glue the nose and the embossed hat to the beard. Glue the beard to the gnome shoes. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the gnome to the bottom left of the card front. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots to tuck the fussy cut flowers and leaf around the gnome. Use a glue dot to add the fussy cut butterfly to the gnome’s hat.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Christmas To Remember stamp set in Memento Black ink on the sentiment panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panel to the top right of the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cardstock inside panel. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull theme through.
