Halloween Mondays: Bewitching Mini Pocket Envelope Treats

Halloween is on a Monday this year and I’ll be counting down to Halloween with a new Halloween project on Mondays until October 31st.

Card Measurements, Supply List, and printable PDF tutorial for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

Halloween is almost here and the Mini Pocket Envelope dies make a fun pocket for your Halloween treats.

Start by die cutting a Basic Black cardstock mini pocket envelope with the Mini Pocket Envelope dies. Cut the two Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper panels. Die cut the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper scalloped rectangle with the Mini Pocket Envelope dies.

Use a Blending Blush to add ink (Parakeet Party, Mango Melody, Highland Heather) to all the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper pieces.

Glue the colored Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper panels to the front and back of the Basic Black cardstock mini pocket envelope.

Glue the die cut Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper scalloped rectangle to the top of the inside of the mini pocket envelope.

Use the bone folder to burnish the score marks and then use glue to attach the flaps to form the pocket.

Add Glitter Washi tape to the top & bottom of the front panel and one strip across the Designer Series Paper strip on the back of the mini pocket envelope.

Cut about 12″ of Metallic Mesh ribbon to wrap around the mini pocket envelope and tie in a knot forming a kind of bow.

Stamp the witch hat from the Bewitching stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock.

Color the hat with Stampin’ Blends and then fussy cut it out with paper snips. Add black Glitter Washi tape to the hat’s band folding the ends over to attach to the back of the hat.

Stamp the spider from the Bewitching stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Fussy cut out the spider with paper snips. Add Wink of Stella to the hat and spider for sparkle.

Parakeet Party

Use Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the witch hat to the center of ribbon bow and the spider to the hat band.

Highland Heather

Add rhinestones to the pocket front for extra sparkle.

Mango Melody
