Pure Magic Dragon Tea Boutique DSP Card

The fabulous 2022-2023 Annual Catalog Pure Magic stamp set is one of my favorites! I love the enchanting images and lovely sentiments. For this card I paired the dragon and the Tea Bouquet Designer Series Paper with the Distressed Gold Specialty paper & Gold Shimmer ribbon. I added a stitched scalloped Vellum cardstock rectangle and a Smoky Slate cardstock stitched square to highlight the dragon against the bight Designer Series Paper.

Start with a Sweet Sorbet cardstock card base. Cut a Smoky Slate cardstock panel and a Tea Bouquet Designer Series Paper panel. Die cut a Vellum cardstock stitched scalloped rectangle with the Scalloped Contours dies and glue it (add glue only in the lower center of the Vellum cardstock rectangle so the glue will be hidden). Wrap the Tea Bouquet Designer Series Paper overlapping the Vellum cardstock rectangle with Gold Shimmer ribbon using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends on the back of the panel. Glue the wrapped panel to the Smoky Slate cardstock panel and then glue the panels to the card base.

Die cut a Smoky Slate cardstock stitched square with the Stylish Shapes dies. Punch a Distressed Gold Specialty Paper decorative circle with the Decorative Circle punch. Glue the circle to the stitched square and then glue them to the card front centered over the wrapped ribbon and Vellum cardstock rectangle. Stamp the dragon from the Pure Magic stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the dragon with Stampin’ Blends, add Wink of Stella to the dragon scales for sparkle, and then fussy cut it out with paper snips. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the dragon to the card front so it overlaps the Vellum cardstock, stitched square, decorative circle, and the wrapped ribbon. Tie a small bow with the Gold Shimmer ribbon and add it to the left side of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon with a glue dot. Add Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front (tuck a glue dot to hold down the top of the Vellum cardstock rectangle to the card front hidden beneath a Dot).

Add a Basic White cardstock panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Pure Magic stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink and add a strip of Designer Series Paper on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Distressed Gold Specialty Paper decorative circle – punched with the Decorative Circle punch.
Basic White cs dragon – fussy cut with paper snips.
