Global Design Project 217 – Color Challenge with the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley

This week’s Global Design Project is a fun color challenge. I love the color’s in this week’s challenge and felt that they would make a lovely Christmas card with the Most Wonderful Time stamp set & dies from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley.

Start with a Mossy Meadow cs card base. Dry emboss the front panel of the card base with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Cut a Flirty Flamingo cs and a Crumb Cake cs panel, dry emboss them both with the Subtle 3D embossing folder, and then glue them to the card base.

Cut a Whisper White cs panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set centered at the bottom of the panel in Mossy Meadow ink. Stamp the large tree from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink centered – about 1″ from the top on the Whisper White cs panel. Use an Aqua Painter to color the tree with Mossy Meadow ink – be sure not to use too much water so that the paper doesn’t pill.

Stamp the candy canes from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink on the tree (3 times).

On a piece of scrap Whisper White cs stamp the 2 -step gifts from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set. I found that for me it was easier to stamp the ribbon & bows in Flirty Flamingo ink first and then add the boxes in Crumb Cake ink by lining up the images (make 3 sets of gifts). Die cut the gifts out with the Most Wonderful Time dies. Add Wink of Stella to the gift’s bows and ribbons for sparkle.

Adhere 4 gifts below the tree using glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a star from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley to the top of the tree.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on the the inside panel. I also added a stamped & die cut gift to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
