Global Design Project 216 – Case the Designer with the Let it Snow Suite

This week’s Global Design Project is to CASE the Designer, the lovely Sarah Berry. I love her fun design and wanted to CASE her card with the Let It Snow Suite.

CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit

Start with the a Flirty Flamingo cs card base. Dry emboss the front of the card base with the Subtle 3D embossing folder and round the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch. Cut two different strips of Let it Snow Specialty DSP. Round the corners on the biggest strip of Specialty DSP and glue it lined up on the right edge of the card base. Then glue the smaller strip so it overlaps the larger DSP strip. Add the sparkle washi tape from the Let it Snow Embellishment Kit to both sides of the second strip of DSP.

Die cut a stitched rectangle with the Stitched Rectangle dies from Whisper White cs. Stamp the sentiment from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set on the Whisper White cs stitched rectangle in Flirty Flamingo ink. Wrap the stitched rectangle with a piece of Bermuda Bay mini stripped ribbon. Add a piece of sparkly washi tape from the Let it Snow Embellishment Kit. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stamped Whisper White stitched rectangle.

Fussy cut out a snowman from the Let it Snow Specialty DSP. Add coal from the Let it Snow Embellishment Kit to the snowman. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the snowman to the card front. Add pearls to the card front around the snowman and on the sentiment rectangle.

Don’t forget to add an Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I also stamped a sentiment from Snowman Season stamp set and added strips of Let it Snow Specialty DSP to pull the theme through.
