This week’s Global Design Project is to CASE the Designer. Brian King used the retiring Gingham Gala DSP and the retiring Just For Hosts stamp set ‘Just Because‘.
I used the Everything is Rosy kit with an alternate color Petal Pink for my challenge card.
Start with a Petal Pink cs card base. Cut a Petal Pink cs panel and emboss it with the retiring Scattered Sequins embossing folder. Wrap the embossed panel with Petal Pink Organdy Stripped ribbon and then glue it to the card base.
Cut a Rose Gold Foil rectangle with the Stitched Rectangle dies and adhere it with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the ribbon.
Stamp the sentiment from the Everything is Rosy Product Medley in Calypso Coral ink on a Rose Gold Foil edge tag and adhere it with glue dots to the card front over the Rose Gold Foil and ribbon.
Color the white and Rose Gold Foil floral punch outs with the Stampin’ Blends. Build a floral panel from the colored floral punch outs with glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere to card front overlapping the top of the Rose Gold rectangle and sentiment tag.
Add a Petal Pink Organdy ribbon bow and adhere it with glue dots to the left side of the sentiment and below the floral panel. Add another colored White and Rose Gold foil flower punch out to the bottom of the sentiment tag. Add mirrored embellishments to the card front.
Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I added foil to the inside panel and the back of the card to pull the theme through.
