I might be at OnStage this weekend but I still have a Global Design Project challenge card. This week is a fun CASE challenge from the lovely Allison Okamitsu.
Start with a Lemon Lime Twist cs card base. Cut a Granny Apple Green cs panel and stamp the large branch image from the Flowering Desert stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink – especially around the edges. Glue the stamped Granny Apple Green cs panel to the card base.
Cut a Very Vanilla cs panel and stamp the sentiment from the Flowering Desert stamp set in Calypso Coral ink at the bottom. Use glue to adhere the panel to the card front.
Cut out a large scalloped circle from the Champagne Foil with the Layering Circle dies. Dry emboss the foil scalloped circle with the Subtle embossing folder. Adhere the embossed scalloped circle with glue to the top center of the stamped Very Vanilla cs panel.
Cut out a medallion with the Eastern Medallion dies in Calypso Coral cs. Glue the Calypso Coral medallion to centered on the embossed scalloped circle.
Stamp the saguaro cactus image with Granny Apple Green in on a scrap of Very Vanilla. Stamp the saguaro flower images in Calypso Coral ink on the cactus and on a separate Very Vanilla cs scrap. Use Snips to cut out the saguaro/flower image and the second pair of flowers. Adhere the cactus to the card front centered over the Calypso Coral medallion with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add the second pair of Calypso Coral flowers over the first pair with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Use Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle.
And don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I also stamped the cactus branch in Granny Apple Green on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
