Gingerbread & Peppermint Thank You November 2021 Blog Hop Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in Bruno and Kylie Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators from around the world!

Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

Each month I make & send Customer Thank You Cards for everyone who orders from my Online Store. This month I created a card with the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More card pack and the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards & Envelopes from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I made this Thank You card to highlight how easy it is to create with this awesome pack of Memories & More cards & envelopes and the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP. My Customer Thank You’s are always blank (with a small removable note) for easy sharing.

Start with a the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards & Envelopes pre-made card base. Pick a card from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards Pack piece, color the ornament top with the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends, add Wink of Stella to the ornament bulb, and then glue it to the center of the card base. Fussy cut a snowflake cookie image from the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP and glue it across the ornament hiding the printed sentiment.

Stamp a sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Real Red ink on a 1/2″ strip of Basic White cs. Use you paper snips to create the sentiment panel (about 1 3/4″). Use the Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blend to add color to the sentiment panel’s edges. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panel to the card front across the fussy cut DSP snowflake. Using the cap & brush tip of your Wink of Stella to add splatter of sparkle to the card (I added it to all four sides). Add Shimmery Crystal Effects to the ornament top (be sure you let completely dry) and Wonderful Gems to the card front.

I added a Basic White cs inside panel to give the card more stability leaving lots of room to write your message. I also stamped the sentiment, added a strip of DSP (vertical to the inside and horizontal to the back) to pull the theme through. I added a fussy cut small DSP snowflake cookie image to the inside panel.

I also added the Stampin’ Up! copyright stamp from the Handmade for You stamp set to adhere to the Angel Policy.

On the back of the card & on the envelope I stamped the snowflake cookie image from the Frosted Gingerbread stamp set in Crumb Cake ink.

I hope you enjoyed my Gingerbread & Peppermint Thank You card. You can order the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More card pack, the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP, the Frosted Gingerbread stamp set in my Online Store.
