This is the piece of Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper I used to make these cards after first cutting it into 6″x 6″ panels.
This is how I created the first card panel.
This is how I created the second card panel. Although I wanted to carry over the mountains so I used a piece from the other 6″x 6″ for the inside panel instead of the one with the owl (see video).

Happy Forest Friends DSP Hello Card

Start with an Old Olive cardstock card base. Cut a Gray Granite cardstock panel and a Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper panel and glue them to the card base.

Fussy cut out a fox, owl, bird, and mushrooms from the Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper. Use glue, glue dots, and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the critters to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set in Old Olive ink on Basic White cardstock. Punch out the sentiment with the Best Label punch. Punch out an Old Olive cardstock sentiment label with the Best Label punch and cut it in half using paper snips. Use glue to add both of the Old Olive cardstock label halves to the sentiment label.

Add looped Linen Thread to the back of the sentiment labels with Stampin’ Seal and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment labels to the card front between the two birds at the top of the trees to look like a bird nest. Add Wink of Stella to the critters and rhinestones around the sentiment labels for sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper, stamp the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set, and stamp the mushroom from the Happier Than Happy stamp set on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
