Bee Mine DSP Hello There Card

The Bee Mine Designer Series Paper is a fun pack of pattern paper that includes adorable bee images. I used three different pieces of the Designer Series Paper and fussy cut out several of the bees to create this card. I also used the sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration Softly Sophisticated stamp set.

Start with a Sweet Sorbet cardstock card base. Cut a Basic Black cardstock panel and a Bee Mine Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together. Die cut a Vellum cardstock scalloped rectangle with the Scalloped Contours dies. Use Stampin’ Seal (only in the center) to add the Vellum cs scalloped rectangle to the panels slightly askew. Wrap the panels with both the Petal Pink ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Pack and white Baker’s Twine overlapping the Vellum cardstock scalloped rectangle using Tear & Tape to secure the ends on the back of the panel. Glue the panels to the card front.

Die cut a piece of Bee Mine Designer Series Paper (3″ x 1 1/2″) with the Stitched With Whimsy dies and then fussy cut around the stitched pattern with paper snips. Add the fussy cut & die cut Bee Mine Designer Series Paper to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals overlapping the Vellum cardstock scalloped rectangle and wrapped ribbon. Stamp the sentiment from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Use paper snips to fussy cut out the sentiment (1/2″ x 2″) and flag the end. Use glue dots and a Stampin’ Dimensional to add it to the card front overlapping the right side of the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper, Vellum cardstock scalloped rectangle, and the bottom of the wrapped ribbon.

Fussy cut out Bee Mine Designer Series Paper bees, add Wink of Stella to the bee’s wings for sparkle and use Stampin’ Dimensionals & glue dots to add them to the stitched Bee Mine Designer Series Paper on the card front. Tie a small bow in the Petal Pink ribbon and use glue dots to add it to the card front on the left side of the stitched Bee Mine Designer Series Paper rectangle overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add flowers from the Adhesive Backed Hearts & Flowers to the Vellum cardstock scalloped rectangle.

Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Memento Black ink on the inside panel. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card.

I also added a fussy cut bee to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
