Flowering Zinnias February 2024 Customer Blog Hop Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie and Bruno Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators from around the world!

Each month I make and send Customer cards as a Thank You for everyone who orders from my Online Store. This month I created a lovely card using the upcoming Online Exclusive Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper, the sentiment from the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog Filled With Happiness stamp set and the inside sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration 2024 Softly Sophisticated stamp set.

Start with a Crumb Cake cardstock card base. Cut an Old Olive cardstock panel and a Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together. Cut an Old Olive cardstock strip and glue it across the panels. Wrap the panels with the Burlap ribbon overlapping the Old Olive cardstock strip using Tear & Tape to secure the ribbons ends to the back of the panels and then glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Fussy cut a flower from the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper and use a Stampin’ Dimensionals to add it to the right on the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel and stamp the sentiment from the Filled With Happiness stamp set in Old Olive ink ( I used my stamp positioning tool). Use paper snips to closely trim the sentiment panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panel to the left of the fussy cut flower overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add Iridescent Rhinestones to the card front for sparkle.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a Designer Series Paper strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. Stamp the sentiment from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Old Olive ink on the right side above the Designer Series Paper strip.
