Hope you had a Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I had another project planned until I was scrolling through Instagram and was inspired by a beautiful card from Chris Smith that I just had to CASE. I adore the new Sale-A-Bration Flowering Foils Specialty DSP and her card used the DSP and Soft Sea Foam. You can watch the Facebook Live replay here or watch on my YouTube channel below.

CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit
Start with a Soft Sea Foam cs card base. Cut a Soft Sea Foam panel and a Flowering Foils Specialty DSP panel. Color the Flowering Foils Specialty DSP panel with Stampin’ Blends. Cut the Whisper White cs strip and the Vellum cs sentiment strip.
Dust the Vellum cs sentiment strip with the Embossing Buddy. Stamp the sentiment from the Ornate Thanks stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on the Vellum cs strip to the left side (be careful it will be wet). Apply the clear embossing powder over the stamped image and then melt the powder with the Heat Tool.
Use the Whisper White cs strip to build the front panel. Lay the colored Flowering Foils Specialty DSP and the embossed Soft Sea Foam cs panel across the Whisper White cs strip and use Snail to attach the flaps to the back of the panels. Add the heat embossed Vellum cs strip around the panel on top of the Whisper White cs using Snail to adhere the flaps to the back of the Panel.
Fussy cut out a flower from the Flowering Foils Specialty DSP with Paper Snips. Color the flower with the Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella to the flower center and the buds for sparkle. Use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the colored flower to the card front across the right side of the Vellum cs sentiment panel, bottom the Flowering Flowers Specialty DSP panel, and embossed Soft Sea Foam cs panel.
Attach the built panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Color rhinestones with the dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend and add them to the card front.
Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I also stamped the sentiment and added a strip of DSP on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
