Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

For this week’s Global Design Project theme challenge I created a cute Easter card with the bunny from the Annual Catalog Easter Bunny stamp set and the eggs from the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog Excellent Eggs bundle.

Start with a Boho Blue cardstock card base. Die cut a Crumb Cake cardstock panel and dry emboss it with the Timber 3D embossing folder. Wrap the embossed panel with the Petal Pink ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo pack and use Tear & Tape to secure the ribbon’s ends on the back of the panel. Glue the embossed wrapped panel to the to the card base. Die cut a Boho Blue cardstock egg and a Poetic Expressions Designer Series Paper egg with the Excellent Eggs dies. Dry emboss the Boho Blue cardstock egg with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. Stamp the egg from the Excellent Eggs stamp set in Boho Blue ink on Basic White cardstock, die cut it out with the Excellent Eggs dies, and then color the egg with Stampin’ Blends. Glue the embossed Boho Blue cardstock on the card base overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Glue the Designer Series Paper egg to the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon and the embossed egg.

Add the stamped egg to the right side of the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals overlapping the wrapped ribbon, the embossed egg, and the Designer Series Paper egg. Stamp the bunny from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on Basic White cardstock. Stamp the three small eggs from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Boho Blue ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the bunny and eggs with Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut out the colored bunny and eggs with paper snips. Add Wink of Stella to the bunny, small eggs, and the larger stamped egg for extra sparkle. Add the bunny to the card front overlapping the eggs on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add the small eggs to the right of the bunny overlapping the larger stamped egg with glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Die cut a Vellum cardstock banner layer with the Stylish Shapes dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Boho Blue ink on Basic White cardstock. Die cut out the sentiment with the Stylish Shapes dies. Add the sentiment banner to the Vellum cardstock banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a strip of Tear & Tape to the center of the back of the Vellum cardstock banner (hidden by the sentiment banner) and add the banners to the top center of the card front slightly overlapping the top of the embossed egg. Add Boho Blue Rainbow adhesive-backed Dots to the card front. Tie a bow with the Petal Pink ribbon from the Ribbon Due Combo pack and add it to the right side of the eggs overlapping the wrapped ribbon with glue dots.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add an embossed strip of Crumb Cake cardstock and stamp the three eggs from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Boho Blue ink (color with Stampin’ Blends) to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

  1. This card is very pretty, but I would never have thought to use this color combination for an Easter card. Very creative. Enjoy your day, Christy!
