Detailed Dogwood December 2023 Customer Blog Hop Card

Each month I make and send Customer cards as a Thank You for everyone who orders from my Online Store. This month I created a lovely card using upcoming product available in January. I used the Sale-A-Bration Detailed Dogwood stamp set and the sentiment from the versatile Throughout the Year stamp set, the Sale-A-Bration Softly Sophisticated stamp set, and the Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper from the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog to create this month’s card.

Start with a Calypso Coral cardstock card base. Cut a Pecan Pie cardstock panel and a Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together and then glue the panels to the card base. Die cut a Basic White cardstock fancy label with the largest Thoughtful Expressions dies. Stamp the sentiment from Throughout The Year stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on the bottom of the die cut fancy label.

Stamp the large flowers from the Sale-A-Bration Detailed Dogwood stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on Basic White cardstock. Stamp the leaf sprig image from the Detailed Dogwood stamp set in Pecan Pie ink twice on Basic White cardstock. Color the stamped flowers with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the flower centers for sparkle. Fussy cut out the images with paper snips. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the flowers to the fancy label above the stamped sentiment. Use glue dots to tuck both fussy cut leaf sprigs around the flowers image on the fancy label.

Wrap the built fancy label with the retiring Calypso Coral Braided Linen Thread and tie in a bow off to the right side. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the wrapped built fancy label to the card front. Die cut Calypso Coral cardstock flowers with the Thoughtful Expressions dies. Add three die cut Calypso Coral cardstock flowers with glue dots around flowers on the fancy label. Add Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the flowers for extra sparkle.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper, stamp the sentiment in Pecan Pie ink from the Sale-A-bration Softly Sophisticated stamp set, and stamp the leaf sprig from the Detailed Dogwood stamp set in Pecan Pie ink to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme though.
