Last month Stampin’ Up! held it’s first Creativity Now event. This fun virtual event was focused on creating with the Splendid Day products. We made four cards and a Designer Series Paper Gift Bag. You can check out the cards I made during the event below and view & download the Stampin’ Up! PDFs of all the projects.
The first PDF shows you what supplies to gather (you can also check out the supply list with links at the bottom of the blog).
On the first card we used the Stampin’ Blends to create a background panel.
On the second card we used a Blending Brush to add White Craft ink to the embossed Calypso Coral cardstock panel to create the background.
The third project was creating a beautiful DSP Gift Bag with the Splendid Day Specialty DSP.
I highly recommend practicing with another pair of Designer Series Paper sheets before creating the DSP Gift Bag with the Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper foil sheets. I used some retired host Pattern Party DSP.
It turned out so cute I created a tag with the Penguin Place stamp set, Stylish Shapes dies, Layering Circles dies, Metallic Mesh ribbon, 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds, and retired Bumblebee Gingham ribbon to go with it.
I also made a pattern with a pair of Petal Pink 12″ x 12″ cardstock sheets that shows the cuts & where to put the Tear & Tape to create the DSP Gift Bag.
We created this gorgeous & shiny DSP Gift Bag using the Splendid Day Specialty DSP Petal Pink with the white sprigs sheets and created a lovely tag to go with it.
On the third card we die cut out half circle shapes with the Splendid Stems dies from four different pieces of Splendid Day Specialty DSP, saving the left over outer die cut DSP to use on the last card.
On the forth & last card we stamped & heat embossed images from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set to create a background panel. We then added the left over die cut DSP pieces from card 3 and heat embossed a sentiment from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set to create this card.
