Country Flowers With Neutrals DSP Card

For this week’s Global Design Project color challenge I created a card using the Country Flowers bundle, the Wildflower Designs dies, and the Neutrals Designer Series Paper pack (unfortunately, this DSP is not included in the current DSP Sale).

Start with a Misty Moonlight cardstock card base. Cut a Basic White cardstock panel and a Neutrals Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the Designer Series Paper panel to the Basic White cardstock panel. Wrap the panels with Summer Splash Bordered ribbon using Tear & Tape to secure the ribbon’s ends on the back of the panel. Glue the wrapped panels to the card front.

Die cut the Basic White cardstock shape with the scalloped frame die from the Wildflower Designs dies. Stamp the pail from the Country Flowers stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White inner frame panel (save the Basic White cardstock frame for another project). To color the pail I outlined the image with the Dark Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blend and then added Misty Moonlight ink with my Water Painter. Die cut out a Misty Moonlight cardstock scalloped frame with the Wildflower Designs dies (save the inner frame panel for another project). Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stamped Basic White cardstock shape to the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Use glue to add the Misty Moonlight cardstock scalloped frame to the card front around the stamped shape.

Stamp the flowers from the Country Flowers stamp set on Basic White cardstock in Memento Black ink. I used both Stampin’ Blends and added ink (Misty Moonlight, Daffodil Delight, & Summer Splash) with my Water Painter. When dry, die cut out the flowers with the Country Flowers dies. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the die cut & colored flowers to card front over the stamped pail. Die cut Summer Splash cardstock leaves with Country Flowers dies. Use glue dots to add the die cut leaves around the die cut flowers. Tie a small bow with the Summer Splash Bordered ribbon and then use glue dots to add the bow to the left side of flower image overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper and stamp the sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set in Memento Black ink on the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Neutrals DSP panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″ plus two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Basic White cs image shape – die cut with the Wildflower Designs dies.
Misty Moonlight cs scalloped frame – die cut with the Wildflower Designs dies.
Basic White cs flowers – die cut with the Country Flowers dies.
Summer Splash cs leaves – die cut with the Country Flowers dies.
