Happiest Day With Full Of Life DSP Card

The lovely Happiest Day stamp set in the Annual Catalog was a set I had originally overlooked because it didn’t have a coordinating set of dies. But the lovely buildable images and wonderful sentiments makes this a stamp set a great addition to your stamping collection. I combined the dragonflies & sentiment from the Happiest Day stamp set with the Unbound Love dies and the Full of Life Designer Series Paper (on Sale until 8/31/24) to create this card. Start with a Granny Apple Green cardstock card base. Cut a Granny Apple Green cardstock panel and a Full Of Life Designer Series Paper panel. Dry emboss the Granny Apple Green cardstock with the Layered Florals 3D embossing folder. Use glue to add the embossed panel to the card base. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the Full of Life Designer Series Paper panel to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Happiest Day stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on Basic White cardstock. Die cut out the sentiment with a scalloped oval from the Unbound Love dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the die cut sentiment to the center of the card front.

Die cut Granny Apple Green cardstock leaves with the Unbound Love dies. Use glue dots to tuck the leaves under the top right & bottom left of the the sentiment scalloped oval. Stamp three dragonflies from the Happiest Day stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock (two for the front & one for the inside panel). Use a Water Painter (using a barely wet brush) to add Azure Afternoon ink (used the lid of the pad as a color pallet) to the dragonflies wings. Use paper snips to fussy cut out the colored (and dry) dragonflies. Add Wink of Stella to the dragonflies wings for sparkle. Use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the dragonflies slightly overlapping the die cut leaves & sentiment scalloped oval on the card front. Add Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls around the dragonflies.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on the inside panel. I also added and embossed Granny Apple Green cardstock strip and a die cut leaf & fussy cut dragon fly to the card.

I added an embossed strip and stamped the dragonfly from the Happiest Day stamp set & the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set on the back of the card to pull the theme through.
