Best Wishes Artfully Composed DSP Card

For this week’s Global Design Project theme challenge I created a card using the retiring January-June 2022 Mini Catalog Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper (DSP). I fussy cut the large images in the DSP to build a leaf bouquet and added leaf sprigs punched with the Bough Punch.

Start with a Mint Macaron cardstock (cs) card base. Cut a Basic Black cs panel and a Artfully Composed DSP panel. Glue the panels together, wrap the panels with Metallic Mesh ribbon length wise, and use Stampin’ Seal to secure the ribbon on the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped the panels to the card front.

Fussy cut large leaves from the Artfully Composed DSP. Punch three Basic Black cs leaf sprigs with the Bough Punch. Use glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals to build a leaf bouquet with the punched sprigs and the fussy cut leaves.

Die cut a Basic Black cs stitched circle and a Basic White cs stitched square with Stylish Shapes dies. Dry emboss the Basic Black cs stitched circle with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder. Stamp the sentiment from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cs stitched circle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the embossed stitched circle and the stamped stitched square to the card front overlapping the leaf bouquet and wrapped ribbon. Tie a small bow with the Metallic Mesh ribbon and use glue dots to add it to the left side of the sentiment stitched square and on the embossed stitched circle. Add Matte Black Dots to the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Memento Black ink. Add a fussy cut DSP leaf & DSP strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Artfully Composed DSP leaves – fussy cut with paper snips.
Basic Black cs leaf sprigs – three punched with the Bough Punch.
Embossed Basic Black cs stitched circle – (2 1/8″) die cut with the Stylish Shapes dies.
Basic White cs sentiment stitched square – (1 1/2″) die cut with the Stylish Shapes dies.
